I love the tiny little hair tuft thing you added to Petunia's head. :3

On that note though, why is she bandaged up?

THANK YOUUUU, I thought a couple of lil leaves up top would be kinda cute lol

      Oh, y'know.... ghost stuff. :3

And everyone wonders why "every electrically charged rodent within a hundred kilometer radius wants a crack at him." :P

Also Petunia here is basically young Leia from Kenobi. https://youtu.be/k8ohKdQWNLc?si=EW9APQ0n98nvkqjs

Highly recommend watching the Kenobi series, it's pretty good. Though it would help for context if you also watched the prequel trilogy if you haven't yet.

IT DOES LOOK VERY CUTE (and luckily I already basically know the context of the older Star Wars movies both from you and my Star-Wars-obsessed family members XD)

Join the Star Wars fandom! It is your DESTINY!

I WATCHED THE MANDALORIAN, THAT'S CLOSE ENOUGH XDDDDD

                  • Link

All three seasons AND Book of Boba Fett?

                    • Link

First two seasons, ditched the third because I heard from several, several people that season 3 was really lame (and judging from season reviewers that I've watched for extra context, that does seem to be the case lol) and Book of Boba Fett I wasn't really interested in. Most of of current Star Wars stuff feels more like a namesake cash grab these days, I liked the Mandalorian because it felt like a more sincere story at first (that's just my take on it tho, I'm also just really picky lmfao. Even Mandalorian was kinda a cash grab with how much they ended up merching the crap outta Grogu, but it just felt like the writers cared more about crafting an original story in the same universe with Mandalorian rather than going "LOOK, LOOK, FAMOUS CHARACTER MOVIE, LOOK, YOU LIKE THIS PERSON FROM OG STAR WARS JINGLES KEYS" in people's faces lol)

This is a video that kinda sums up what it seems like to me, lol https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J-piNPoWoYc
(He does trash on Obi-Wan a bit, but the kid actress is almost cute enough to bait me anyways lol)

I really liked Season 3, Book of Boba and all the live action Star wars shows. In fact the only things "Star Wars" I've watched that I strongly dislike are the sequel trilogy (though Rise of Skywalker had a few "so stupid it made me grin" moments) and the weird AF Ewok movies. So i guess I'm just a lot more forgiving when it comes to Star wars and media in general.

And y'know what, that's valid as heck!! Different strokes for different blokes, or whatever the hell the saying is XDDD Most of them just aren't really my cup of tea, generally speaking (and that doesn't change the fact that the OG movies aren't legendary AF, they just never really captured me, I guess lol)

                          • Link

Another thing the Kenobi series did really well was make Vader a BEAST. Any time he walks on screen he's like an unstoppable slasher, and the A.I. hybrid voice dubbing (James Earl Jones gave legal permission for his voice to be duplicated with A.I. for movie and TV productions so I take no issue with it here) was on-point.

Another show I highly recommend is Andor. Despite technically being a prequel to Rogue One (which was also pretty good), the show basically does the opposite of all the others and stears as far away from fan service as possible. Only three characters in it have ever appeared in any Star Wars media before; the Titular Cassian Andor who co-starred in Rigue One, Saw Garrera who made an appearance in Rogue One, and Mon Mothma; the leader of the Rebel Aliance.

The show's strength is how gritty and believable it is. No Jedi, no Mandalorians, not even any dashing heroes; just ordinary people being screwed over by The Empire and being forced to take a stand against it, even if they don't all want to initially. It understands what fascism is to the average person, and it doesn't shy away from showing just how messed up that is.

OOUUGHHHH I DO LOVE DARTH VADER... truly iconic dude
Yeah, that one seems really good!! Rogue One also seemed like it was probably good, but it looks too heavy/sad for me, my mum and Beth watched it and said I probably wouldn't like that one cuz it was too depressing lol - But Andor looks like something I think I'd enjoy, looks like it has a lotta good stuff in it, so that's one I'll prob check out at some point tbh!

Andor takes the sadness to a whole new level, but in a gritty realistic way. Almost like Schindler's List in space. It's not a "fun" show, but it is deeply profound, sobering and moving.

Yeah, idk why, but depressingness for me is worse in like, full-on war movies, which is more like what Rogue One is and probably why I wouldn't like it as much, but Andor seems like a slightly different vibe and also like it probably has more good moments to help balance out the bad a bit (like, i know Andor also takes place during war times, but it doesn't seem as focused on like, the battles and stuff, moreso focused on the oppressive forces on like, general populations and them rising up against it and such, if I'm reading all that right from what context I've seen of it XD)

                                  • Link

There are shoot-out scenes in it, but they're not really full on "war" battles. Heists, break-outs, riots, that sort of thing.

                        • Link

*that they ARE legendary AF, not aren't, lol
