Have you been curious for a more specific overview of the tagging system? As you may know we’d like to encourage frequent and accurate use of tags, so as always, we’re here and we’re happy to help.

While the post proper discusses the form and function in greater detail, here are some key tagging features we’d like you to keep in mind:

Subject: What does the submission involve? Poetry about nature? Fiction about animals?

Gender: Where on the gender spectrum do the character(s) fall?

Species: Are the characters of the piece a certain animal?

Genre: Is the theme of the story drama? Sci-fi? Horror?

Setting: Where and is the piece taking place?
