I decided to color this lineart by nightsabra to represent my cat Bob.
He was the only cat my family and I ever had, since we're mainly dog people. He was originally meant to replace a cat our next-door neighbors lost, but somehow he warmed up to us first so we kept him. (No, he wasn't exactly longhaired...just pretty big.) He must've been a happy cat because he purred a lot. He especially liked cuddling up to me and enjoying the bellyrubs I gave him, since he knew I was a cat lover. Every night we'd let him out, and he'd come back with a bird or a mouse in his mouth. (Of course, we had to throw it in the trash can.) He died at a young age (about 6) of a feline version of leukemia, and I've missed him ever since.
