Dear Weasyl Community,

I am happy to report that I and my team passed the first round of game submission at P1 Games. Our game was awarded, "Most Innovative". I was ranked second place in the categories of "Most fun to work with" and "Most wholesome". Overall, I would call that a success. With that, it was time to leave the East Coast. However, I want to follow up with some suggestions that were given to me here on Weasyl and Ferzu. My brother and I tried the New York style pizza from Coalfire. It was very flat, and underwhelming. However, we then went to Neopizza and had the Chesapeake Bay style pizza -- that was absolutely divine. So technically I have tried both seafood and pizza on the East Coast.

Leaving the East Coast, I attended my cousin's wedding in California. It was great to see the family again after four years. It is a pity the visit was so short. However, I should see a number of them again when I travel to Chico for my niece's second birthday. I love how many flights are available these days. Mainly because I love flying. Now it is oftentimes faster, cheaper, and more convenient too. I have to admit, I don't mind too much if I get selected for a random security check either -hehehehehe-.

In other news, I should hear back from my first story submission any day now. Even if I don't get accepted, I will insist on getting corrections. It is the only way to become a better writer after all. I've also expanded the job search to outside the United States. To that end, I'm a bit disappointed. I've applied for research jobs, teaching jobs, and artistic jobs. No interviews, only flat rejections all around. I will also be starting the next book in my stack "Queer A Graphic History" by Meg-John Barker and Julia Scheele. I hope to learn a lot. Anyway, I hope you are all doing well.
